It is so strange that I've never even heard of this place until now! The crowd was lively and the bartenders are very efficient. You can definitely tell they know what they're doing. Great atmosphere behind the sidebar and I'll be back to now they know it exists.

Ethan clearly loves what he’s doing and is the reason places like sidebar continue to offer something special and separate themselves. Each portion of sidebar has its own energy but you can tell everyone there is happy to make it a unique or special time for their guests

Exceptional cocktail bar. Wish we had more time to try more, but will be back. Well crafted cocktails by a knowledgeable staff and great sitting area to sit and enjoy their craft. Highly recommended checking out.

Had a great time at The Docket! The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are excellent, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was letting the bartenders test their creativity with a dealer’s choice drink, and Ethan absolutely nailed it. You can really tell there’s a lot of care put into the experience, from the service to the overall vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends.

Great selection of bourbon and the best handcrafted cocktails in Loudoun County. Ethan, Hunter, Ryan, Zach, and Emma are amazing! The food is amazing, and the service is top notch.

As a local, I’ve always seen The Docket as one of the better places to go in downtown. However, Ethan has assembled a crew that is just a step above the rest. I’ve traveled to many different places and I can say Benny is among one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. He is a wizard with his mixes and a great guy to chat with. Todd is also exceptional. I enjoy talking bourbon with him and he will be as good as Benny in no time. Anyone looking for a good time and a good drink thinking they need to go to DC for it is missing a gem way closer to home. I couldn’t recommend The Docket enough.

Service was excellent! Ethan and Benny took great care of us. The ambiance was wonderful: intimate but in a relaxed fashion. The two of them whipped up some excellent drinks for us. Both the menu options and the dealer’s choice were amazing each time. We got the buffalo chicken dip. It was delicious but just not my favorite. For the happy hour price, it was absolutely worth it! Highly recommend for hours of feel-good vibes.
